Co-creation, custom-built, retractable stands for versatile spaces

Welcome to our projects page, where we are proud to showcase some of our work in theatres, education, sports and corporate auditoriums.

SCC De Bernardus Made

The social and cultural centre De Bernardus in Made was opened on 8 March 2024. In the past years, the Bernardus church has been restored, rebuilt and extended to provide space for local associations, an baby care centre, a day nursery, a library and a multifunctional theatre hall with a retractable grandstand.

Howest Campus Brugge Station

Howest - University of Applied Sciences has built a stunning new sustainable integrated campus at Bruges railway station. The design & build team included the Antwerp-based construction company MBG, evr architects of Ghent and INBO Architects of Amsterdam, Arcadis & Omgeving. For the six lecture halls, with over 1,000 chairs, MBG commissioned us to manufacture, deliver and install the chairs with writing tablets.

CC Schakelbox Waregem

CC De Schakel is a cultural centre with an open spirit, where artists of all levels and persuasions, art and culture lovers, interested parties and casual passers-by from all corners of the world come together to meet, admire and marvel at each other in a pleasant way.

Dutch National Opera & Ballet Amsterdam

Dutch National Opera & Ballet has a new level-floor stage: Studio Boekman. For the new hall we were awarded with the order to engineer, produce and install the new, fully automatic retractable grandstand.

Motonet Arena Joensuu Finland

For the new, ultra-modern multifunctional sports hall at the Mehtimäki sports park in Joensuu, our partner Piiroinen was awarded the contract for the turnkey supply of the seats and retractable stands. Our expertise was commissioned for the engineering and production of the retractable metal structures with rigid chain drive.

Grandstands Zuiderpark The Hague

COS was commissioned by v.o.f. Ballast Nedam and Kuipers Installation with the engineering, production, delivery and installation of the telescopic stands and a total of 3,650 seats for the top sports hall and beach volleyball hall at the Sportcampus Zuiderpark.

Grandstands Nokia Arena Tampere

The Nokia Arerna in Tampere, Finland, is Finland's most modern ice hockey arena and a multifunctional sports palace, concert hall and event centre. Designed by architect Daniel Liebeskind, the iconic building was officially opened on 3 December 2020.

Grandstand CC Lux Kapellen

The community of Kapellen in Belgium awarded us with the order for engineering, production and installation of the retractable grandstand in the new cultural centre.

The design of the building is from Met Zicht op Zee Architects in Antwerp, Cordeel Temse nv is the main contractor of the site.
